As many of you probably already know by now, genius Tim Burton is in fact doing his own version of one of my personal favorites, Alice in Wonderland. Of course The Mad Hatter is to be played by none other than Johnny Depp, a Perfect fit if I do say so myself. Although it is still quite a while away, seeing as it is set to come out in 2010, the combination of Tim Burton and Johnny Depp always proves to be well worth the wait.
If you enjoy indie-rock then feast your eyes (or ears rather) on this Texas based band called Wild Moccasins. Although most bands with female fronts seem to be over-looked, you’ll regret passing up this band. With a sound slightly reminiscent of weezer, they’re sure to make your ears happy.
For a good read, I’d highly suggest picking up a copy of “Kafka On the Shore” by Haruki Murakami. Most definitely falling under the category of magical realism, this is one book you wont want to set down.
